ACTIVITIES

Woodies at the Beach, Santa Barbara Woodie Club 

The 2008 Woodies at the Beach show held by the Santa Barbara Woodie Club is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2008. The meet will be held at Santa Barbara City College beginning at 9 AM and concluding at 3 PM. The address is: Santa Barbara City College, 721 Cliff Dr, Santa Barbara, CA. The entrance to the display area (same as in years past) is at the corner of Shoreline Drive and Loma Alta Drive, Santa Barbara, CA. 

There is a change in our Friday night kick-off. The no-host dinner and cocktail event will be held at the Crocodile Restaurant in the Lemon Tree Hotel @ 2819 State St. in Santa Barbara, Ca. There is also discounted lodging available at the Lemon Tree Hotel.

There will also be our traditional Sunday morning breakfast and cruise on August 17, 2008, starting at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast will once again be held at: Longboard's Grill, 210 Stearns Wharf, Santa Barbara, CA. That's on the Santa Barbara pier just a few blocks from the show.

This year's raffle will feature a custom longboard thanks to the generosity of Paradise Planks.
